    Terms and Conditions

    These Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) govern your use of the Glovbox platform, including our website and mobile application (“App”), operated by MY SERVICE SPOT PTY LTD, trading as GLOV BOX (“Glovbox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By signing up, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these T&C. For app-specific terms, including app store compliance, see our App Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

    1. Acceptance of Terms

    You accept these T&C by registering, accessing, or using the Glovbox platform. We may amend these T&C at our discretion, with notice provided via email, the App, or at login. Continued use after amendments constitutes acceptance.

    2. User Eligibility

    Our services are available to individuals and entities capable of using the platform for vehicle management (e.g., owners, buyers, workshops). There is no minimum age requirement, but you must have the authority to use our services. App users are responsible for ensuring device compatibility (e.g., iOS 14.0 or later, Android).

    3. User Roles and Responsibilities

    3.1 Vehicle Owners
    • Upload accurate receipts, logbook entries, images, and videos to maintain service history.
    • Verify the accuracy of AI-extracted data and Proof of Service Certificates.
    • Pay for Standard/Comprehensive Reports or optional services (e.g., pre-purchase inspections).
    • Before requesting service history, tick a box confirming prior interaction with the relevant workshop to prevent fraudulent access.
    3.2 Buyers
    • Use Proof of Service Certificates and reports for personal vehicle evaluation, with no restrictions on sharing.
    • Pay for optional add-ons (e.g., full service history, PPSR reports).
    • Verify the accuracy of third-party data (e.g., PPSR checks).
    3.3 Workshops
    • Upload verified receipts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy laws.
    • Notify clients that their data is shared with Glovbox, providing an opt-out option.
    • Use the booking system, video reporting, and pre-purchase inspection tools responsibly.
    • Maintain a valid Australian Business Number (ABN), verified during onboarding to prevent fraudulent signups.
    • Workshops indemnify Glovbox against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their failure to notify clients of data sharing or obtain consent, including privacy breaches.
    3.4 General Responsibilities
    • Provide accurate and updated information (e.g., first name, last name, mobile number, phone number).
    • Protect account credentials and report unauthorized access immediately.
    • Do not misuse the platform, including uploading malicious content, hacking, or providing false data.

    4. Platform Services

    Glovbox provides services including:

    • Service history aggregation and digital logbook management.
    • Proof of Service Certificates (Standard/Comprehensive Reports).
    • Workshop booking and communication tools.
    • Pre-purchase inspections and video reporting.
    • Rewards program with discount codes and giveaways.
    • AI-powered data extraction and vehicle image analysis.

    We may modify or suspend services at our discretion with notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform.

    5. Ownership of Data

    Glovbox owns all data uploaded to the platform (e.g., receipts, logbook entries, images, videos), and you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and process such data for platform purposes. You retain the right to share Proof of Service Certificates and reports without restrictions.

    6. Payments and Subscriptions

    6.1 Vehicle Owners and Buyers
    • Pay one-off fees for Reports or optional services via Stripe.
    • No refunds are provided for completed services unless Glovbox fails to deliver, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
    6.2 Workshops
    • Pay subscription fees for platform access.
    • Late payments result in subscription cancellation and loss of access.
    6.3 General
    • You are responsible for any taxes or transaction fees associated with payments.
    • We may adjust pricing with notice.
    6.4 Future features
    • Future features (e.g., full service history purchases, invoicing integrations) may involve additional fees, which will be communicated to users via email or the App prior to implementation.

    7. Rewards Program

    You may redeem rewards (e.g., discount codes, giveaways) via a redeem button or email. Glovbox is not liable for issues with third-party partners (e.g., invalid discounts). Rewards are subject to availability and partner terms.

    8. Communication

    • Workshops may message users or send SMS for bookings, with users able to respond.
    • Report builders’ contact details (email, phone) are visible to signed-up users purchasing reports.
    • Future features (e.g., user-to-user or workshop-to-workshop messaging) are covered by these T&C.
    • You consent to sharing contact details for report-related communications.

    9. Fraud and Misconduct

    Fraudulent actions are strictly prohibited and may result in severe legal consequences, including criminal prosecution and financial liability for all damages and expenses caused, including legal costs, repair costs, and other losses.

    9.1 Workshop Fraud
    • Workshops uploading fake or fabricated service history are fully liable for damages and expenses to vehicle owners (e.g., repair costs, financial losses) and Glovbox (e.g., legal costs).
    • Penalties include account termination, legal action, indemnification of Glovbox/users, police reporting for severe cases, and inclusion on a public blacklist (visible to users, with legal safeguards to avoid defamation).
    9.2 User Fraud
    • Users impersonating others, uploading fake documents, or falsely claiming vehicle ownership are liable for damages and expenses to Glovbox and other users (e.g., legal costs, financial losses).
    • Penalties include account termination, legal action, indemnification, police reporting, and inclusion on a public blacklist (with safeguards).
    9.3 Anti-Fraud Measures
    • Users must tick a box confirming prior workshop interaction before requesting service history.
    • Repeat offenders will be permanently banned from the platform.

    10. Liability and Disclaimers

    Glovbox provides services “as is” with no warranties beyond those required by Australian Consumer Law. We are not liable for:

    • Errors in AI processing (e.g., incorrect data extraction, image analysis).
    • Disputes between users and workshops (e.g., service quality).
    • Inaccurate or incomplete user-uploaded or third-party data (e.g., PPSR checks).
    • Privacy breaches due to workshops’ failure to obtain client consent.
    • App downtime, device incompatibility, or user errors.
    • Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-extracted data (e.g., service dates, mileage) in reports or logbooks. Glovbox is not liable for reliance on unverified AI outputs.

    We are not liable unless we act with gross negligence or intent. Our liability is capped at the fees you paid to Glovbox.

    11. Termination

    You may delete your account at any time, but service history and uploaded data will be retained for platform purposes. Glovbox may suspend or terminate your account for misuse (e.g., fraud, non-payment, false data) or violation of these T&C.

    12. Dispute Resolution

    Disputes will be resolved through:

    • Negotiation: Initial attempt to resolve amicably.
    • Mediation: If unresolved, mediation by a neutral third party.
    • Arbitration: If mediation fails, binding arbitration as a final step.

    Glovbox offers mediation for user claims against fraudulent workshops (e.g., for repair costs). These T&C are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

    13. Intellectual Property

    Glovbox owns all intellectual property in the platform, including AI algorithms, report templates, and branding. You grant us a license to use uploaded content for platform purposes.

    14. Future Features

    These T&C cover future features (e.g., invoicing integrations, user-to-user messaging, expanded rewards). We will notify you of material T&C changes via email or the App.

    15. Compliance with Laws

    You must comply with all applicable Australian laws, including privacy and consumer laws. Glovbox complies with the Australian Privacy Principles and Australian Consumer Law.

    16. Miscellaneous

    • Governing Law: These T&C are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
    • Force Majeure: Glovbox is not liable for disruptions due to events beyond our control (e.g., cyberattacks, natural disasters).

    • Retention: Personal information is retained until you delete your account, but service history and uploaded data (e.g., receipts, images) are retained indefinitely for platform purposes, including maintaining vehicle records for reporting and compliance. We may retain data for legal purposes (e.g., consumer law compliance).

    6. Your Consent

    By signing up and accepting our Terms and Conditions, or by authorizing social login through Facebook, Apple, or Google, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Users who choose social login cannot switch to a non-social login method (e.g., email/password) unless they create a new account. You provide explicit opt-in consent for:
