Why I Built Glovbox
As a qualified automotive mechanic and workshop owner, I founded GlovBox out of frustration with the lack of transparency in the vehicle market. Too many times, I’ve seen people buy cars based on vague promises, only to uncover that the claims—whether from sellers or even workshop roadworthiness reports—didn’t hold up. I’ve heard too many stories of vehicles being sold as ‘well-maintained’ or ‘mechanic-checked,’ only to reveal serious, hidden issues.
After years of seeing this firsthand, I realized that pictures and promises alone are never enough. We need verified data to provide an honest and accurate picture of a vehicle’s history. That’s why I created GlovBox—to give buyers and sellers peace of mind with our Proof of Service reports, which verify a vehicle’s service or repair history.
